SHIRT CARE GUIDE

Our guide to help make your Paloma shirt always look its best and even last longer.

We want to encourage everyone to create minimal wardrobes with fewer investment pieces which can be looked after and worn more. This means taking care of clothes to prolong their life-cycle.

Always follow the instructions in the care label, explained in detail below:

WASH

We all wash are clothes too often. Always keep in mind that it’s best to wash your clothes as little as possible and spot clean if needed instead. *Never use bleach or harsh stain removers on a Paloma shirt.

Wash Paloma shirts at a low temperature (max. 30°C) in the delicates or hand-wash cycle, using a delicate eco-friendly wash detergent. We recommend The Lab Co's specialty range HERE.

DRY

Never tumble dry your shirt always place immediately on a wooden hanger (that is not stained to avoid any colour transfer) and hang dry. If you have hand-washed your shirt, do not wring out the water and instead gently press the water out of the fabric.

IRON & STEAM

To get rid of creases, it’s best to steam your TENCEL™ items. We recommend using Steamery HERE. If you don’t own a steamer you can use an iron on a steam setting and hover over the fabric or gently press using a low setting. . Either hover the iron over your garment using the steam setting or gently press, using a warm setting. Never expose to high heat in the wash or from an iron.

STAIN REMOVING

As Paloma shirts are made from a delicate fabric never use any bleach or harsh stain removers to get rid of stains. Instead, rinse stains immediately, using cold or warm water. Try to spot clean by applying some delicate or wool laundry detergent and gently dab the stain with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid scrubbing or rubbing as this might damage the fabric.

Paloma shirts are made from TENCEL™ fibers which are biodegradable and compostable and can fully revert back to nature. ⁣⁣The wood is sustainably produced in a unique closed-loop process, meaning waste and water are reused/recycled to up to 99%. The finished fabric looks like cotton with a visible premium texture and is silky soft on the skin. This fabric is easy to wash and look after if you know how.
